About Our Daycare Classrooms
The Kids Care Academy location in New Albany has six classrooms: Infant, Toddler A, Toddler B, 2-Year, Pre-School, and Pre-K. Our Jeffersonville location has 10 classrooms: three infant rooms, four toddler rooms, and three Pre-School/Pre-K rooms. All About Our Infant Rooms
The infant rooms at Kids Care Academy are where our children are provided with more individualized and personal care based on their developmental needs. Our teachers have a weekly lesson plan based on Our Curriculum that consists of new indoor and outdoor learning experiences, family involvement activities, baby sign language, and accommodations for routines and schedules.
Our Toddler & 2-Year-Old Rooms
New Albany KCA has two toddler rooms for ages 12 to 24 months and a 2-year-old room for 24 to 36 months. At our Jeffersonville location, there are two toddler rooms and two 2-year-old rooms.
Our Curriculum and learning centers emerge in our toddler and 2-year-old rooms as the children explore the world around them. Their teachers give them daily activities to work on language development, mathematical and science concepts, engagement in creative art and music, and much more!

Learn About Our Pre-School Rooms
Our New Albany location has a preschool room to educate 2 1/2-year-olds, and a Pre-K classroom to accommodate our 3-, 4 -and 5-year-olds. Jeffersonville KCA has separate classrooms for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds.
These classes learn through hands-on experiences by exploring our 10 learning centers. Our teachers guide children by being facilitators of language development and helping our children explore concepts through open-ended questions and discussion.
Providing Individualized Learning
Our bi-weekly lesson plans encourage family involvement, new learning experiences based on the children’s interests, and plenty of opportunities for the students to grow cognitively, social-emotionally, and physically.
Each class has a weekly individualization sheet to offer the best learning experiences for our students that reflect their development and teachers complete daily observation logs to help the teachers and families work on specific goals set for each child.
Preparing Your Pre-Schooler for Kindergarten
Continual assessments, observations, and daily reports are shared with the families of our preschoolers to help bridge the gap that is commonly found between schools and homes. Family involvement is strongly encouraged and we strongly believe that it is one of the keys to the success of our program.
Our preschoolers learn more than just the ABCs and 123s. They are given the life-long learning experiences and foundations they need to transition smoothly into kindergarten and beyond.
